I came from a struggle, financially and academically. My mom coached me since I was 9 years old. Fast pitch was not offered in the recreational park, so we played slowpitch until about three years ago. During slowpitch I won the homerun hitter award at the world series in Tupelo, Ms, and the best defense award. My mom (coach) is my trainer because we could not afford to play on other teams. It taught me to fight hard for what I want. I want to one day play professional softball. I play for high school and I play shortstop, center and third base. I love this sport. I play whole heartedly. Whatever my team needs from me I give it to them and more. After softball I want to do sports medicine, still need to be in the sports world. I want the recruiters o know that I'm not all talk, I BRING IT.
