Personal Statement

I want to one day become an orthodontist.  That has been my dream since I was 6 years old.  My second dream is to be able to play college softball.    The dedication, determination, and other character traits necessary to be a successful orthodontist began not only in the classroom but also on the softball field.  I learned to never give up when you are down; everything isn't always going to go your way; and that success comes to those that work the hardest.  I have also learned to be humble and honest in all I do whether on the field or off.  I would love nothing more than to be able to see my dreams come to fruition through both avenues of my academics and athletics.  I am first and foremost a team player.  I will sacrifice my stats for the ultimate goal of the team.  I work very hard to give back to my school and community through various extracurricular activities and volunteer opportunities and I truly believe that being a lifelong servant to my team, my community, and my family will serve me better than anything else I could do in this life.  I think these characteristics are what make me a good candidate for your team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
