Ashley Ewoldt '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the 5th grade when I won the character counts award for the entire elementary, I realized whether it's sports or life, it's entirely about displaying character. My character and my academics aided me in my selection into the National Honor Society, and election on to our schools student council. My work ethic and in combination with my ability to lead by example, is why the volleyball coach selected me as a team captain, as a sophomore. All of that being said, I have a passion for the game of softball and an unwavering desire to get better everyday.  Whenever I step on a softball field my state of mind changes, and that has earned me, all conference, all district and all state selections. I truly believe in team, and I know to contribute to the team, I must be an outstanding teammate first knowing my actions can never come before the team.
