I am currently a Sophomore at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Last year I was the starting catcher for our team; we won our Regionals for Division 2, District B and and went to Nationals in Clinton, Mississippi. This year I start as a catcher or third baseman for my team. My batting average up to date is .388 with 49 plate appearances so far this season.
I was All Conference for my high school team in 2013. I was MVP Offensive player for 2013, and I was also named to the Indiana East/West High School All Star Team for 2013. Although my primary position is catching I can also play 3rd and 1st. I was selected for 2010 Adidas Futures Team, and played in The Adidas Futures Tournament at St. George, UT in July of 2011. It was an awesome experience! I started on the Indiana Gators ASA "A" team at 14 and played until I graduated high school.
I began playing this sport at 4 years old and I've loved it ever since. My goal is to continue playing on to a successful 4-year program where I can also continue my studies in Journalism and Business. I want to enjoy as much time as I can playing softball. I take constructive criticism very well, I'm dedicated, and eager to learn and improve my skills at a university.
