Personal Statement

Getting good grades and becoming a better student-athlete is very important to me. The same amount of effort that is put into softball, also goes into my schoolwork. Between softball, volleyball, bowling and studying, it leaves me with very little free time but, I understand the commitment of becoming a better student-athlete. I look up to my head coach, Emily Bergeson-Klemmer. She played shortstop and graduated from the University of Indiana in 2009. I am motivated by her career path to get to the next level and to play division 1 softball.

Much better session than in April! Improved my bat speed and my grip strength and my Allister Index is 82.79 which ranks me in the 88th percentile. I was invited to attend a Jamboree based on my tryout.

**Update- I am going back to OnDeck on June 14 in Joliet, IL** May have been my worst day ever on a softball field, I did not show well, especially in comparison to measurements that I already had on file.
