Both of my parents are college graduates and I want to follow in the same footsteps as them. I grew up knowing how important a degree will be for my future. Since a very young age I have always had a passion for the law. I admired police men and women and have decided that that is the path I want to follow. Protecting people and enforcing the law is what I'm most interested in. My drive is to preform at the highest level academically and athletically.
One of the reasons I would be a good candidate for a collegiate team would be my attitude. The biggest component to my attitude is staying positive and being able to bounce back when things don't go my team's way or my way. Staying focused and keeping positive allows me to work through adversity. Secondly, I feel I bring good energy and spirit to the team. Although, high school and collegiate sports are highly competitive, the bottom line is you have to have fun. I'm always upbeat and supportive of my teammates and will always do what is needed of the team.
I believe my athleticism separates me from other recruits. I have been involved in competitive sports since the age of 3. I've been exposed to multiple sports which have attributed to being a well-rounded athlete. Also, I think I am a good student. Balancing athletics and academics is difficult, but with my determination I feel I can achieve both at a high level.
I know in my heart, I will give everything I have to my university/college and softball team.
