At the age of 4, I joined my first sports team. I began playing baseball for Pauoa AC, a park league sponsored by the Honolulu Police Department. For the next 7 years, I was the only girl in the league and played with the same team as well as the same coaches. I have learned the fundamentals of baseball and became really good at it. At the age of 11, I was invited to join my first softball team. It was a blessing because it was an easy adjustment coming from playing baseball for 7 years and moving forward into softball. This is where my passion and dream began for the game of softball. My dream is BIG! I don't settle for any less and always strive to reach my dreams. Playing softball at the NCAA level for the championship softball game, on National Television, is my dream and my goal that I work hard for.
I'm currently averaging between a 3.7 GPA and a 4.0 GPA. I work really hard to maintain a high GPA. If I'm not doing my best in my education, then I know my softball career can end. My passion is playing softball, but my priority is my education. Softball is temporary, but education will be with me for the rest of my life. My final goal after college is a career in the medical field to be a Anesthesiologist. I will continue to work hard and strive for my goals. I've learned to make sacrifices to be at the level I am today. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that my goals are impossible.
Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
