In our lives, we each have many goals we set for ourselves, sometimes we don't reach those goals because of time or they became less and less important as we got older. I am no different in this respect, I have set many goals, and I have met some, discarded some, and have yet to start on a few. Despite that, I have always had two VERY important goals that have never changed. One of them is to play softball at the collegiate level. I have devoted many hours of many days to this sport. I have dragged my parents all over Georgia, and The United States, just to get better at this game. I have pushed myself to my breaking point only to learn that I can bounce right back and go at it again. As melodramatic and ordinary as it sounds, softball for me, truly is life. I build my agenda around this game. I sacrifice a lot for the love of softball, and for the commitments I have made. In my opinion, this is what makes me unique. If I make a commitment, I will try to the best of my ability to make good on it. I won't make promises I can't keep, and I won't give you my word unless it is good. You may question my ability, but never question my desire in this game. I believe in loyalty, and I abhor back biting. If you are a team, you are a family, and family members protect each other. I mentioned earlier that I have two goals, the second is to further my education. I aspire to be an author. I would like to major in creative writing to better my knowledge of the subject. I've always found writing as a secret salvation. I would have to say my love for ink on paper is indescribable, save for one thing I have learned: The world will judge you for what you do, people will judge you for what you believe, but paper doesn't judge you at all. I seek refuge in my writing, and I escape into what I put on that paper. I only wish to learn how to utilize that skill, and to make a living out of it. I want my job to be something that I can do well , and something that I love.
