Macy Ivester '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello

My name is Macy Ivester. I am a junior ( c/o 2016) attending Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Ga. I have played as a starter 3 years on our Varsity softball team at my high school and have played softball since I was 4 years old. I started travel ball when I was 11 and I knew it was true love. I have played on different travel teams throughout the years which has opened me up to all sorts of competition and opportunities. I couldn't and don't ever want to imagine my life without softball. My goals for college educationally is to go through courses and programs that will help me achieve my goal of becoming an Athletic Trainer.  Throughout my years of high school ball I have made All County  2nd team honorable mention, Coach's Award, and 2 year hustle award . I have made many accomplishments on the field and off. I stay busy between school by keeping my GPA up, (which is currently 3.8) staying in shape for softball, maintaining a social life, going to church and spending time with my family. I am team captain for my Varsity softball team which has given me the role of being a leader not only on the field but off as well. I have a mindset about myself that once I have a goal I will do anything to achieve it and I will not back down for anyone or anything. I can't wait to further my softball career, but first I have to find a school to commit to.
