I started playing softball when I was 8 years old on a County Recreation ball team in Social Circle, Georgia. I have played the sport ever since and began playing travel softball when I was 10 years old. I started taking pitching lessons soon after. I am taking hitting lessons with Mike Boyd and pitching lessons with Erin Arevalo.I am currently going into my junior year at Walnut Grove High School. I play on the Varsity and Junior Varsity team as a pitcher and outfielder. My GPA was 3.7 during my 10th grade year.
As of now, I throw the following pitches: Fastball, Change Up, Drop ball, Curve Drop ball, Screw ball, Rise ball and Curve ball. My pitching ranges from 58 to 62 MPH. My change-ups are in the low to mid 40’s. I am a left hand pitcher and can hit from both sides of the plate as well as slap.
I have become a much better player since I began to play softball and I am still learning to better my softball skills. I play A level travel ball with GA Outlaws coached by Jim Fambrough and Jim Parker. When not pitching, I can play any position in the outfield and first base. I have made many friends throughout my softball career and will continue to enjoy meeting and competing against top athletes.
I am a member of Church at the Grove in Walnut Grove, Georgia. My goal is to help people come closer to God, to become a better Christian, and to play the game and live life for him. I would like to continue my education and softball career after I graduate from High School. I’m looking for a school that has a strong academic program as well as a strong softball program.
