Adella Carver '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adella Carver. I am a 2018 graduate at Calhoun High School. As long as I can remember, I have loved softball. I tell my Mom that it is like air to me, without it, I just can't live. I began catching at age 8 and from my first time behind the plate, I knew that is where I wanted to be. I have caught over 750 games and caught for about 20 different pitchers. To my coaches, I am known for my work ethic, my hustle, my agility behind the plate, and my heart for the game. I am a cheerleader in the dugout and a leader on the field. I think communicating with my team is key to working as a well oiled machine. It is my goal to play college ball at a college that fits both my academic and athletic expectations. A school I can invest four years in and leave my mark on.
In the classroom, I am a driven and engaged student. I love learning and working as a team. I take my roll, as a student, very seriously and aim to set a good example and show exceptional character as it reflects my school. I am in honors classes and am very serious about maintaining a high grade point average.
In short, I feel that I would be a great addition to your team as well as your school. My values, morals, and faith run deep. I will work hard every day to make my family, my coaches, and my school proud to have me.
