April 2017Personal Statement
I started my softball career playing t-ball and through my experiences have made it my goal to play in college. I am the most coachable and the hardest working recruit you will find. I play softball by my hitting coach’s motto, “we’re just busy getting better, that’s all!". I am a team leader and I enjoy spending extra time to help my teammates. I’m an honors student, love to volunteer within my community, and hold my own on the field. Ideally, I would strive to play for a college that has a competitive softball team and rigorous academics. I’m interested in the field of engineering and I’m currently a part of the Benjineers, an engineering club at my school, the reigning national champions. I also have a creative side and have taken up a passion for glassblowing. I push myself and try my best both on the field and in the classroom. I constantly strive to be the best I can be and to make my parents proud.
