My team mates call me “Breezy” and my passion is softball. I love being on the mound and feeling the power in my pitch. I am team captain and the starting pitcher on my competitive team. My goals are to further my education while I continue to play softball at the collegiate level.
It’s ironic that my first word was “ball” as I have been playing ball since I was 4. When I was 8 I started playing softball and instantly fell in love with the game. Over the years I have grown as a competitive player. In 2009, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and only had 11% chance to pull through. I was determined and fought the fight of my life. I am now 4 years in remission and am a stronger softball player because of my determination. I play softball year round and enjoy spending every waking moment working hard and continuing to become a better softball player. I am a true believer in leading by example and that actions speak louder than words.
My dreams and aspirations are to be an outstanding softball player, make a difference and to be a role model for younger players. I would love to be able to share my story and be an inspiration to others.
