My name is Kymberlyn Baldwin. I started playing softball when I was about five because my sister played, so my parents decided to try it out with me. Obviously, it stuck because I would love to play at the college level. I began pitching when I was about ten, and I have always wanted to pitch at the college level. Through softball I have learned that I am a leader by example versus someone who is a verbal leader. I have also learned that I do better in school when I am kept busy, so playing softball has helped me keep my academic goals. My goal for every year is to have all A's and B's, mostly A's of course. I do not like doing bad in school what so ever, so I try my best to get good grades.
When I go to college, I intend to keep the same academic goals that I have for high school . I would like to pursue a major along the lines of exercise science and personal training because I am very into fitness, and I want to help others be as healthy as they can be. I am looking for a college that will give me a good balance between school and softball because I want to be able to do as well in the classroom as I do on the field. Whatever college I go to, I want to be able to find success.
