Being the only freshmen on the varsity team and going to state was by far the highlight of my high school career. As the years have passed and our team has gotten younger and younger, I personally have grown the most as a person my junior and senior years. I have truly experienced what it is like to be on a losing team and to overcome adversity as an individual. I have began to refocus my efforts on becoming not only a well rounded leader of my team, but also pushing myself to be the very best I can and to have what it takes to play at the collegiate level.
After many years of playing, I can now say that I know what it is like to not only be on a winning team, but also on a losing team and trying to overcome many obstacles during losses and injuries. I truly have learned over the passed ten years what it means to be a team player, to sacrifice for the team, to be dedicated and to have commitment to the game, as well as to continue to be a leader in the toughest of times. I am looking forward to finding the right school for me that is not only the perfect athletic fit, but also the perfect academic fit, as I value education tremendously. I believe I have the ability to play at the collegiate level not only because of my athletic ability but also because of my character on and off the field, work-ethic, leadership, and dedication to a team.
