Brianna Warner '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brianna Marteen Warner. I am approximately 5'2" and 109 pounds. My size truly helps me with my speed; I run home-to-first in 2.63 seconds and home-to-home in 11.21 seconds. I am a left-handed batter/ slapper and primarily play outfield as well as second base.

My goal when I am on a competitive team is not only to perform well, but also to make lifetime friends and memories. I am a good leader by example and never leave a dugout dirty. The dugout must be clean for the next team that plays after us.

I primarily would like to go to school locally because it is where I grew up, but I really have no preference in location. Small schools are good for me because I grew up in a small town, but I would also like to go to a larger school because there is a greater chance for meeting more people and making lifetime friends. I do not have a preference on what kind of school either. I would; however, like to attend a school with very good academic programs, especially for forensic science, which is my intended major. I would love to have a chance to study fire arms and documents as my career later in life.

My goals in athletics are simple: play hard all the time, make a statement on the field, and never leave a game with my uniform clean. My goals in a broader range are to play with other amazing athletes and make it to a World Series Championship playing college softball at a high level of competition.
