Personal Statement

TRANSFER STUDENT - FALL 2015

Dayna Lauren Reynolds,  I am 19 years old and am 5'10",  left handed -, center field, right field, left field and 1st base. I am currently at WESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE COLLEGE, ALTUS, OK.    I will be graduating with an Associates Degree in May 2015 and want to continue to attend College/University for my remaining 2 years (August 2015 - May 2017).    I also attended Trinity Valley Community College, Athens, TX from August 2013 - May 2014 and transferred.   I played center field and played every game and was also the only freshman other than our back catcher to play. We made it to the conference play for North East Texas and had an exceptional year.   My batting AVG .440  SLG .425  SLG .649, OBP .528.   Previously,  I joined Delta Heat 95A team in 2005. and in 2010 I moved to Richmond Islander 95A. I have been at the Seaquam Softball Academy for 4 years and taught by Kim Wright, Venezuelan Women's Head Coach.   2011-2012 season, I have changed teams to Richmond Islanders 95A.  We have Alan Mauthe (formerly Boston Red Sox) as our batting coach.

I played on the NW Fastpitch team with Ken Olsen 2012 and attended the camp.  Our team won the 2012 NW Championship Sparq Results are as follows:

20 yard -  2.97 , Power ball  4000,   Shuttle  5.00, Vertical 22.60,   RATING  106.17

I plan on continuing my education to  college/university to play softball as a freshman at the highest competition level possible.   I am open to playing anywhere in the United States from West coast to the East coast.    I enjoy being around children and teaching them how to play any sport and watch them learn and coach children along. Also helping upcoming young sports enthusiasts the importance of keeping good nutrition.

I am a leader, very confident, and fast, I would love the opportunity to be part of of a team and attend a great college/university and finish my degree in kinesiology
