Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Haylee Zimmerman. I am a 2015 RHP from Rogers High School in Rogers, Arkansas. I love all sports but softball is my passion. My goal after high school is to get a good college education and continue playing the sport I love. My love of softball drives me in the classroom and on the field. It keeps me focused and grounded. There is no better feeling than the anticipation of opening day of high school season or the first game of a big tournament. Softball has taught me there is always room for improvement on the field just as there is always room for improvement in your life, but you have to be willing to put in the work. I always strive to be the best person I can be in every facet of my life. I have been blessed with a wonderful support group in my family and for that I am very thankful. They have taught me the value of hard work and to appreciate everything we have been given in life.

My primary position is pitcher, with 1b as my secondary. Ball movement is my specialty as well as being able to hit my spots. I have a strong bat an good hands for fielding. Being able to field my position as a pitcher is very important to me. My coaches consider me a good power hitter. I have been fortunate enough to work with some great former college players that have helped teach me not only the mechanics and skills of the game, but also the mental aspect of the game.

I hope you consider me for your program. I will work hard and do everything I can to support my school and my teammates. In May of 2013 my high school team made it to 7A Arkansas State Championship game. What a ride it was. Our hard work and determination in a very long season paid off. Although we fell short in the championship game, we worked hard to make it there and value the opportunity to compete at the highest level possible for 7A in high school ball. Thank you so much for reading my brief info coach! I am truly looking forward to hearing from you.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
