I am just beginning my Sophomore year at Winslow High School. This school year I plan to focus on accelerated courses that are challenging. I will be joining the Sports Medicine program at Winslow High School this year, which will help me learn about how to take proper care of myself as an athlete, and how to help others the same. My plan is to major in prosthetics and orthotics, and I believe that the Sports Medicine program is a great starting point for that future career.
Softball is my passion. I fell in love with the game at the age of eight, and it all started off when the high school varsity coach asked me to play on the local travel ball team. After I joined and played for them for a while, our coach was killed in a car accident. I am and forever will be grateful to her for introducing me to this amazing sport. She is one of the reasons I play softball today, and she is the reason why I fell in love with the sport. I also play volleyball, and participate in clubs and activities at my high school. Finding a college that has an undergraduate program that would lead into prosthetics and an excellent softball team that I can contribute to is my goal.
