I think the words I would use to describe myself would be hard working, dedicated, passionate, and a person of integrity. I currently carry a 4.0 GPA and take pride in working hard in school to achieve academic success. I am a member of the National Honor Society. In 2013, I was awarded the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. Softball has taught me a great deal about life, leadership and hard work. As a catcher, I must work hard beyond the normal. Going that extra distance makes all the difference. It is what separates a good player from a great player. I want to be great. My current pop time is 1.8 which is consistent and on target. I have set goals to work towards decreasing that speed even more. I am a lefty batter with a batting average of .441. I love batting left-handed. I started playing t-ball at the age of 5 as a right-handed batter and in 2012 decided I wanted to be more versatile. I have had tremendous success with batting left handed. Through softball I have found my true passion. I believe in setting goals and building a step by step plan to achieve my larger goals. I am hard working, coachable, and accountable for my actions on and off the field. My goal everyday is to continually improve my skills offensively and defensively and be the best that I can be on and off the field.
