June 2016Personal Statement
Playing softball in college has always been a personal goal of mine ever since I stepped on the field as a six year old little girl. I always wanted to be "one of the big girls playing on TV." Now that I am older I realize that it takes hard work and a lot of practice to get to the next level. My softball coaches have always told me I have a great work ethic in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the field or court.
I enjoy being a leader, as it also comes with having a lot of respect from my coaches. Helping the JV players out during softball or leading by example help me thrive on the field and as an athlete as a whole. I influence others to work hard and want to win.
I would be great for your program because I am a hard worker in and out of the classroom and I have a winning attitude while being respectful to everybody around me.
