I have been a part of the NCSA family since we opened our doors in 2000. As one of the founding fathers, it has been my passion to be able to help change student-athletes’ lives using athletics to open up academic opportunities. I was fortunate to play four years of college basketball on a full scholarship at Saint Vincent College. I was a co-captain my senior year and we set a school record for most wins in a season. One of the things that I’m most proud of is that some of the student-athletes I have enrolled and worked with over the years are now working at NCSA and are paying it forward as well. As NCSA continues to grow, I look forward to continuing to educate families and motivating student-athletes for years to come.
My personal recruiting experience was one of relying on my high school coach. I was the first one in my family to go to college, and my parents had no idea how the recruiting process worked. In the process, I realized later that there could have been so many more opportunities for myself. I use my 23 years of recruiting knowledge every day and love sharing my experience as well as the experience of athletes that I have worked with over the years. Families that go through the recruiting process with NCSA now have the opportunity to have education guidance and motivation to make their experience a successful one.
