I wake up every day grateful that I get to work in sports and talk about sports, as it’s always been a huge part of my life! I grew up in the small town of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Played baseball, basketball, track & field, wrestling, and competitively water skied throughout high school years but my true love has always been football. I ended up going to Northern State University to play football and graduated with a degree in Business Management.
After college, I had the opportunity to coach Outside Linebackers at Minnesota State University – Moorhead. Despite the long hours and heavy workload, I enjoyed every minute I was able to spend with my fellow coaches and players. It truly was a blessing to be to provide leadership and guidance to a fantastic group of young men.
At the end of the day, I am just grateful I get to help student-athletes find their future home and reach their full potential! I got fortunate in the recruiting process by finding a school that was perfect for me, and now working at NCSA, allows me to give high school student-athletes the resources to find the school that is perfect for them.
