I am a graduate of Tyler Junior College with Associates in Liberal Arts in 1990, and later graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992 with a degree in Political Science and History. As High School Athlete I played three sports with Soccer, being the first year the state of Texas had created a varsity program for high Schools, as I had been a league player for 8yrs on two championship teams as a starting midfielder.
I also was swimmer for Robert E Lee High School, and placed both in IM Medley and on the 400 relay team as a sophomore. It was my plan to continue playing ball at Texas Tech, but had a career knee injury to cut short my collegiate sports.
The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is that I get to connect with families and guide the families in the right direction of this recruiting process to expand their opportunities for success both on and off the field.
I am a Master Referee for NSSA, and have completed in the World Skeet Championship for 12 years, and been able to mentor and coach both youth and adult Sporting Clays, American Skeet and Trap. I was named in 2016 to the Texas All State Sub Sub Senior Skeet Team.
I am a proud father of a daughters whom also has graduated from Texas Tech University with Honors and is finishing a Masters at Tech. I reside in Cibolo, Tx with my wife Laura of 27 years, and our second four-legged child, Sir Harry Winston.
