I was born and raised in the great capital of California, Sacramento. I’m a former High School student-athlete who played three sports, Golf, Soccer, and Basketball. While I was never the most gifted at any of them, I loved being on a team and giving my all from buzzer to buzzer. That is the type of person I want to be for our NCSA families. I will work with them and give every mom, dad, parent, guardian, and most importantly every student-athlete my all.
I was never able to extend my athletic career past high school, but my fandom of sports never stopped growing. One of my favorite memories is attending the 1998 NFL playoff game that coined the term “The Catch II” when Steve Young threw to a well-covered Terrel Owens for the touchdown that put the 49ers on top and gave them a lead that clinched the game. I was in the stands with my dad, and I leaped into his arms celebrating. Since then, honestly a little before then too, I have been a die-hard Niners fan. I also cheer on another Bay Area team, the Giants, and I can’t forget my love for my hometown Kings.
But most of all, I’m excited that I get the opportunity to help families and student-athletes get resources to transition from High School sports to the collegiate level every day.
I currently live in Cameron, South Carolina with my best friend and beautiful Fiancé, Cara. We have a Snowshoe Siamese Cat named Kamar.
