I was a four-year college athlete, competing in basketball from 2001-2005 and baseball 2002-2003 at Saint Xavier University in Chiacgo, Illinois. I graduated from Saint Xavier with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in finanical fraud.
During my senior season at SXU, I was named First Team All-Conference, and our 2004-2005 team went 30-7, along with making the deepest run in school history at the NAIA National Tournament reaching the Elite Eight. I was inducted in to the Saint Xavier University Athletic Hall of Fame in May of 2012.
Upon the completion of my playing career, I accepted a position to stay on as an assistant coach within the men’s basketball program at Saint Xavier where I spent nine seasons from 2005-2014. In 2014, I accepted the opporurtunity to become the associate head coach at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois, within their men’s basketball program. I will be entering my fourth season at GSU this upcoming fall 2017.
In addition to coaching at the university, I have been working with club basketball programs over the past five years. Currently, I work within the Nike-sponsored Meanstreets Basketball Program out of Chicago.
The most rewarding part of working at NCSA is the opportunity to work with student-athletes and families that are truly committed to the recruiting process and giving their athlete the best possible opporutinity to play at the collegiate level.
