Sports have always been an essential part of my life. From Little League games at Thillens Stadium, to pickup games at the park, to Illinois State High School tournament games, to coaching AAU basketball against the likes of Jabari Parker to playing socially at the club, sports have always been an important part of my life.
My most exciting and thrilling sport experiences thus far have come as a proud parent watching my kids: my daughter as a four-year varsity basketball player and three-point shooting expert at a West Suburban Chicago High School, and my son as an Iowa Hawkeye playing as a scholarship athlete on the men’s golf team. Their accomplishments include participating in the NCAA Tournament all four years, receiving All Big Ten Honors two times, achieving Ping All Midwest Region all four years, winning college tournaments, setting the all-time scoring record for an Iowa Hawkeye in a single tournament at -11., winning the State Amateur and Monday Qualifying at the John Deere Classic in 2014.
After selling my business of many years, I have come to the most satisfying and fulfilling part of my participation in sports, my time here at NCSA. I love helping young student-athletes find the right school for reaching their goal of getting a college education while playing their sport in college. The NCSA platform is by far the most effective college athletic recruitment method, and I am very proud to introduce it to students from across the country. I have never been involved in anything more satisfying than helping a young student-athlete along the path to fulfilling his or her dreams.
