I attended a DIII college playing soccer, volleyball and basketball. Halfway through my junior year I transferred to a DII college to play solely soccer. I’m the soccer player who cannot hang up the cleats just yet as I continue to play in all women and coed soccer leagues local to Charlotte, North Carolina.
I actually used NCSA for my college recruiting in 2013. I didn’t know I wanted to play in college until my senior year of high school and I thought it was too late to be recruited. NCSA helped me get in touch with multiple coaches and I was able to achieve my goal of playing in college. One piece of advice I can give to student athletes and families that it doesn’t matter where you come from, that you can achieve the opportunity to play collegiate sports if you are determined, a hard worker, and are willing to show up!
