I came to NCSA because I wanted to help student-athletes achieve their full potential. The recruiting process can be very difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. I strongly believe that athletics create leaders and provide student-athletes with the confidence to pursue their dreams. Growing up, baseball was my biggest passion, and, for as long as I can remember, it was my dream to play college baseball. As a collegiate baseball player at Carthage College, I understand how competitive the recruiting process can be. I was an above average high school player who thought that everything would be handed to me. That isn’t always the case in recruiting, so the work I put into the process was very much on my own. My family had never gone through the process before. I was fortunate enough to find a great school in Carthage both academically and athletically, playing in two Division III College Worlds Series in 2007 and 2009. I am here to use my knowledge and experience to help student-athletes and their families achieve their dreams, just like I was able to accomplish.
Prior to working for NCSA, I was a teacher and a coach. I understand the importance of a solid education and finding the right fit school for everyone. Since being at NCSA, I have seen the impact it can have for every family. Being able to wake up every day and know that every conversation I will have will create a positive impact for someone else is extremely rewarding.
