Like many, I had a successful high school playing career. I did tear up the football field until I had a serious neck injury (career ending in pads, doctor’s orders). I then turned my focus to baseball, where I had great success, which opened the door for my collegiate opportunities. As a student-athlete, I earned my degree in teaching, which was a rewarding profession.

During my tenure at NCSA as a recruiting specialist, I have been lucky enough to speak and listen to families nightly to better understand their recruiting needs. Providing guidance, earning trust and passing on recruiting knowledge is extremely rewarding. This is especially important for families, as most are experiencing recruiting for the first time. Being a dad and going through this process with NCSA has been a real eye-opener for me. My family would be at ground zero without the NCSA team being behind us.

Prior to my time here at NCSA, I spent the majority of my professional career in public education. I served as an athletic director and had the opportunity to coach many different sports, including football, baseball, wrestling, basketball and softball. I taught health and science at the high school and middle school levels. My experiences have allowed me to view the recruiting process from all angles. I have stressed at all times that academics are just as important as athletics, especially for student-athletes with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level.

When not working at NCSA, I truly enjoy spending time with my wife and watching my kids excel at the things they like to do most, which is dance for my daughter and soccer for my son.

My greatest reward is standing over the shoulder of a student-athlete and next to a parent when signing their letter of intent.
