Sports have always been my life, for as long as I can remember. I have been getting involved in sports in as many ways as feasible, whether it be coaching, participating, or watching, it has been a desire of mine to be involved with sports in any way possible. I played baseball from the age of 6 to the age of 16 but after that decided to shift my focus more towards academics, and start prepping for college. With the love I have for sports it drove me to attend a 4-year college at Coastal Carolina University where I graduated with Cum Laude honors. During my time at Coastal Carolina I managed to stay involved in sports by working with the Athletic Department as a Student Operations Assistant, and majoring in Recreation and Sports Management.
For me, the opportunity to build relationships with families during the recruitment process and also help guide them down the right path in a process that can help set the athlete up for success both academically and athletically is the most fulfilling aspect of my job at NCSA. Another part of NCSA I love is not only building connections with these families and their athletes but my colleagues as well.
I am very team-first and determined to help best assist in any way I can. I’m ready to give it my all at all times as if I were going through this exact process myself. I was never confident enough in my abilities to go through the recruiting process as an athlete, but had I known about about all of the opportunities out there like NCSA that may have been different. This is a regret that I hope to help every aspiring student athlete not have to look back on!
