I am from Knoxville, Tennessee. I attended school at the University of Tennessee where I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Retail consumer Science.
Growing up, I played a ton of sports including soccer, basketball and volleyball. Basketball was my main sport where I competed at the highest level on many different travel teams. Looking back, I never realized the importance of being proactive in the recruiting process and time slipped right through my fingertips and I never had the chance to get recruited.
The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is being able to educate families on the importance of starting the recruiting process as early as possible and making sure they are taking the proper steps each year to land on a roster of a school that is the right fit for them. If I had NCSA in high school to help educate my family on the recruiting process, I would have definitely ended up representing a school through sport.
