I attended the University of Kentucky following high school, majoring in Journalism with a minor in History. I played basketball at Southwestern High School, but chose to focus on my academics while in college.
I currently reside in Lexington, Kentucky with my 2 dogs, Paisley and Bud. Ive always had a deep passion for sports even from an early age. Growing up in rural Kentucky, watching the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team with my grandfather as a kid were core memories that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart. I believe this stemmed my passion for sports as a kid, and It only grew as a I got older and learned the passion and dedication to a craft associated with sports. These are lessons I carry over into my life now, as I am a very passionate individual and am always driven to achieve whatever goals I set for myself.
The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is that I get to use my passion to help individuals achieve their dream by guiding them and their family through the recruiting process. Another favorite part for me, is the connections I am able to form with not only families from all different types of backgrounds but also colleagues that come from many different paths. I am a firm believer in looking into and learning about different perspectives. The many different ways to look at and attack a situation are crucial in achieving the best possible result. I am always looking to gain an additional perspective on life, and I never take for granted the opportunity to use those resources to help families maximize their opportunities!
