I’m a former D1 Football Student-Athlete from the University of Louisville (2012-2015) and Ohio University (2016) were I played Defensive back. During my playing career I was able to get my Bachelors degree from Louisville and my Masters degree from Ohio. Along with that I enjoyed my experience playing for a top 25 team in the country for 5 years.
After my playing career ended I knew I wanted to stay involved in the sports industry, which is what my experience reflects for the next several years. I went on to get experience as a Football Coach at Carson-Newman University. I also worked as an Academic Advisor/Student-Athlete Development at the University of South Florida, Florida State University, and the University of Virginia. Lastly before coming to NCSA I worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Community Relations.
I’m very passionate about student-athletes and helping them develop academically and in their athletics. I want to assist athletes in reaching their athletic goals while also preparing them to be more than an athlete once their career is over. This is important to me because I’ve been through some of the challenging obstacles myself. I want athletes to take pride in having an identity outside of just playing a sport while also having the confidence that they can be successful in anything they do.
