My athletic journey started when I picked up a basketball when I was around 5 years old. I loved every second of playing basketball. Until I realized there wasn’t much need for a 6’3 power forward in one of the most competitive high school basketball conferences in the nation. I pivoted to football, wrestling, and a little bit of lacrosse. After battling through some injuries I was fortunate enough to continue my athletic and academic career at the Virginia Military Institute.
Unfortunately, injuries ended my collegiate career early. I have always loved college sports and that love was rekindled when I watched my son go through the recruiting process. I discovered I had a passion for helping him and now other student-athletes find the right academic and athletic fit for them.
Now I can be found cheering on Gettysburg College football where my son is an outside linebacker. When I’m not there I’m spending time with my wife, daughter, and our black lab Cleo.
