I have played sports my entire life. In high school I won the Outstanding Horizontal Jumper award for my school during my sophomore, junior, and senior seasons of track and field. After high school, I was lucky enough to be a two sport collegiate athlete at the NCAA D3 level, competing in basketball as well as track & field. I was awarded All-West Region honors during the 2019 indoor track season for triple jump. I studied exercise science as sport has always been my passion. Outside of sports, I was also a member of my high schools drumline, and got to continue that into college as well with a music scholarship.
The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is getting to help take some of the stress out of the college recruiting process for families across the country. My recruiting process was unconventional and caused a lot of stress on me as a teenager. Being a part of a company that takes that stress away for millions of kids brings me a ton of joy.
When I’m not working, I spend my time with my wife and my two children, as well as playing in local men’s basketball leagues. I hope in the future to use what I learn from NCSA to help my own kids through the college recruiting process. Being a father is my greatest joy in life, and I can’t wait to help foster a love of sports and exercise in my children.
