My unique recruiting process made me want to work with future student athletes at NCSA. I left home at 16 and transferred to a boarding school where I did five years of high school. I committed to a D1 school before my junior year and was de-committed after a coaching change three months before signing day. I was fortunate to commit to Penn State about two weeks later with the help of my coaches. I played Division 1 baseball at Penn State until a second labrum tear forced me to reevaluate my path. I’ve been fortunate to see the highs and lows of college recruiting and college sports. From the visits to offers to de-committing to signing my NLI, I’ve been through it all.

Upon graduating in 2022, I remained involved in the sports world, focusing on writing. I cover the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, and Houston Astros for Sports Illustrated. I’ve written for other publications such as OddsChecker, Catena Media, and various other outlets. I also have a book being published within the next year about my baseball journey.

Outside of baseball, I’m an avid fan of the Milwaukee Bucks and hanging with my Mini Australian Shepherd, Nittany. There’s nothing that brings me more joy than going to throw a ball around with him for hours each day.

While my story was closed a few years earlier than expected, I’m thankful for what baseball has brought me. I’m beyond excited to help the next kid in similar shoes to myself reach his dreams.
