I played four years of college basketball at Luther College which is located in Decorah, IA. I was a four year starter and three year captain. I was an All-Conference selection three times and made the All-Area second team my senior year. During my career, we won the conference two times and went to the national tournament once which was the first time in 26 years.
I began my coaching career right out of college to continue to stay involved with the sport and help student-athletes have a great college experience. I was a college basketball coach for nine years at three different schools. I was a coach at Mount Mercy University, Cornell College, and Luther College. I’ve been lucky enough to coach two national tournament teams, four All-Americans, and many All-Conference athletes. However, the thing that I loved most about coaching is being able to impact student-athletes on a day to day basis and help them have a great college experience.
I love working with NCSA because I get to do what I love: help student-athletes reach their goals and have a great college experience. I loved all my time spent at Luther College as a student-athlete and there is nothing more rewarding for me than to be able to help student-athletes have that same experience. It is my goal to ensure that every student-athlete with whom I work will find a great fit for them where they can grow academically, athletically, and socially. I love having the opportunity to be able to connect with families and talk through the recruiting process to be able to live out their college dreams as a student-athlete.
