In the summer of 2015, my wife and I were struggling to figure out life with our 2-year-old daughter and 5-month-old twin girls. Little did I know that things were about to change more than I could ever imagine! The first time I walked into the old building of NCSA, I knew right then and there that I had found my career. The exciting vibe among all the coordinators talking with families, the sound of the bell ringing every time there was word of a commit, and the applause exploding from the seats was almost surreal. On top of all that excitement, our president announced that we were moving into a building twice as large, which meant even more growth for our company. With 15+ years of coaching volleyball, from juniors to the Division I level, I knew that helping families with the recruiting process and working for an organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of student athletes and their families was the absolute right fit for me.
I have had the opportunity to coach some phenomenal teams, winning multiple California State and California CIF championships as well as several medals at the Junior Olympics. I even won a national championship as a high school football player. When I look back at my coaching days, the most rewarding part was seeing my student-athletes commit to colleges and start their futures as adults. NCSA has given me the opportunity to share that recruiting knowledge with thousands of families, all while being able to spend time at home so I can teach my three girls about life every day.
