Collegiate athletics has always played a large role in my life as both of my parents were successful head collegiate coaches for more than 23 years; my father coached football and my mother coached women’s soccer. My younger brother was a collegiate hockey player and an assistant football coach as well.

I was a collegiate athlete myself, I had a wonderful experience being a part of a men’s soccer program who advanced to the NCAA Div. 1 National Championship Final. I made my decision to attend that school because of the coaching staff and the education it provided. During my freshman year, second semester, the coaching staff moved onto another school; I decided to transfer after my sophomore year. I ended up earning my Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design, and Philosophical and Religious Studies. I had great opportunities as a student-athlete as I worked for a local preschool as a teachers assistant, had a graphic design internship with a reputable design firm, earned All-American NAIA honors as an athlete and received honors as a student.

After graduation, I moved directly into the collegiate coaching field as an NCAA Div. 1 assistant men’s soccer coach. During this time I received my Master’s Degree in Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management. Throughout my coaching career, I have been very fortunate to be an assistant coach in the MVC, ACC, A-10 and MAC conferences. I was also privileged to be an NCAA Div. 2 head coach for five seasons that competed in the GLVC.

The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is that I get to a part of, what may be the most exciting time in a young adults life, the college recruiting process. This can be a stressful time as well, but I am here to give clarity, direction, education and options to move forward onto the next chapter of a prospective student-athlete’s life. I have a passion for education, sports and helping people strive to achieve their dreams. Let’s GO!
