I grew up in Lima, Ohio, and was a three sport athlete throughout my childhood in football, basketball, and baseball! At Lima Bath High School, I participated in just basketball and football, and by the time I was a senior, was entirely focused on basketball.
I was fortunate enough to continue being a student-athlete at a liberal arts, Division-III institution at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. I was a member of the basketball team throughout each of my four years while pursuing degrees in both Business Management and Sport Management. While at Wittenberg, I also took part in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and interned with the Athletic Department, both in Communications and in Game Day Operations.
After my time at Wittenberg, I took a position in the Technical Consulting industry, working as a Technical Recruiter and then becoming an Associate Operations Manager. My main goal, however, was always to work in sports. When I heard about the opportunity at NCSA to educate, facilitate, and overall be a part of student athlete’s journeys to help them get recruited to play at the next level, it was a no brainer for me to jump on it!
When I’m not working, I spend my free time following my favorite sports teams and leagues. I also really enjoy traveling, going to music festivals/concerts, and outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, or taking in the lakefront in Chicago!
