I am from Eagan, Minnesota, and I started playing sports at age five. I played basketball and football throughout my youth sports career. I attended Eagan High School, where I played basketball through my sophomore year and football all four years. After my senior football season, I was awarded named All-Conference, and I started to get interest from college coaches to play football. After going through the recruiting process and visiting numerous schools, I was fortunate enough to accept an athletic scholarship to play safety at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After one year later, I decided to leave Augustana, stop playing football and transfer to Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I graduated in 2017 with a degree in business management.
My favorite part about working at NCSA is I get to discuss sports with families, and each day, I have the opportunity to help a student-athlete play a sport at the college level. In high school, I had a good idea of the recruiting process because my older siblings went through it, so my parents were able to guide me in the right direction. Being able to help families learn and understand what the process is all about is why I chose to work here at NCSA.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing pickup basketball. I also enjoy working out and watching a wide variety of sports.
