I began my passion for sports at a young age, breaking out with baseball and football. As I got older, I was able to expand my competitiveness not only on the court with track and basketball, but through the course of my studies, I developed a passion for fostering and mentoring and pursued that passion by working with underprivileged youths in a group home setting. Finding the job at NCSA was a match made in heaven I could follow both of my passions while helping the community and fostering athletes’ relationships with coaches throughout the country. I have a passion for schooling and being able to help students pursue school while continuing to be competitive is a dream of mine.
While not every student right now has the opportunity to play at the next level currently; every student that can play on the next level should have that opportunity. Being from a small town I can empathize not having coaches or scouts coming to the games. The pandemic has also made standing out to coaches trickier at times, canceling seasons and restricting travel. NCSA is an awesome tool for anyone trying to get names and stats in front of college coaches. Working for NCSA has given me the opportunity to level the playing field for big, small town, talent to really shine through. I live in Johnson City with my girlfriend and our two dogs Sparky, Hazel, and soon to be new dog.
