I grew up in Northeast Michigan and spent most of my time in a pool or the track. Growing up next to the Great Lakes I learned to swim and fell in love with competitive swimming at a young age. I excelled quickly and won Michigan Junior Olympics in the 50 freestyles. In high school, I competed in track and field and was ten-time All-Area, ten time All-Conference, eight time All-Regional, three time All-State and earned 8 Varsity Letters (Track and Field –4, Cross Country- 2, Swimming- 2).
My parents always say purchasing a membership with NCSA “was the best investment we have ever made.” I started working with NCSA as a freshman when I was focused on swimming. As a junior, I switched my focus to track and field and they helped me earn a Division 1 scholarship to Western Michigan University. NCSA is the reason I got that scholarship!
During college, I worked for the WMU Football Team in the recruiting department. Following graduation, I worked in the sports industry with positions at Baylor University, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, and the Charleston RiverDogs Minor League Baseball Team.
Working for NCSA has been a full circle dream job. It is an honor to be a part of student-athletes’ journey to reach their goals of competing at the next level.
In my spare time, I love traveling to Nationals Parks and eating home cooked food with my son and husband.
