As the Recruiting Coordinator at the Air Force Academy for five years, I had the privilege of guiding numerous families through the college recruitment process. My goal has always been to help student-athletes find the right fit, ensuring they can thrive both academically and athletically. During my eight seasons with the Falcons, we achieved significant milestones, including our first winning season in 19 years and establishing ourselves as the winningest staff in program history. I also had the honor of developing players who earned All-Conference honors and recognition in the Mountain West.
Having been an athlete myself, I understand how overwhelming the recruiting process can be. Early in my journey, a coach told me that at 5’2″, I would never play in college. Defying those expectations, I competed at the Power 5 level and played professionally, ultimately transitioning into coaching at the Division I level. My own experiences as a student-athlete at the University of Colorado—where I was proud to be a three-time All-Academic Pac-12 First Team selection and contribute to our team’s success in the NCAA Tournament—shaped my passion for sports and provided me with the tools to pursue a professional playing career in the Czech Republic.
What I cherish most about working at NCSA is the opportunity to connect with student-athletes and their families on a personal level. Helping them navigate the recruitment process and witnessing their dreams come to fruition is incredibly fulfilling. I treasure the moments when I see the joy and relief on their faces as they find the right fit for their future. Being part of a supportive community that champions the aspirations of young athletes inspires me every day.
When I’m not focused on helping athletes achieve their dreams, you can find me paddleboarding on Lake Michigan, playing volleyball, or spending time with my husband and our two lively dogs, an Australian Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute.
My journey has reinforced my commitment to nurturing the next generation of athletes, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact in their lives!
