Long before I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill I was involved with sports at a young age. I was in love with sport of gymnastics from when I could start to walk until middle school. Being a part of that community for 8 years I then went over to the world of basketball and played through the years of 11 to 18. Playing basketball allowed my competitive side to hit the ground running and this is really where I found a passion for sports.
After graduating high school I decided to no longer play basketball in school and decided to focus on academics choosing to study Sport Administration at the land of the Tarheels. Being surrounded by such a great sport community and other peers that were passionate about the game gave me some great knowledge and awareness of this field.
I continue to move my body and show my strong competitive nature through bodybuilding training and competitions.
NCSA has been a great community for me. The most rewarding part of working at NCSA is knowing my company is truly making a difference in the lives of student athletes and their families. Looking back I would have loved to continue to play basketball in college but I didn’t have the knowledge or resources to get me there so being apart of those resources that can get student athletes to where they want to be is very rewarding!
