Growing up Drew played every sport he could – soccer, baseball, basketball, skiing, tennis, golf, football, skateboarding, lacrosse. In high school, Drew played varsity basketball and golf, although his main focus was in baseball. While committed to play baseball in college, Drew sustained an injury which required Tommy John surgery which ultimately brought his baseball career to a close. He finished his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the College of Charleston before going on to get an master’s degree in Sport Psychology and an MBA.
After graduate school, Drew was hired to train TSA agents (yes, the ones at the airport) in sport psychology mental skills. After a couple of years, Drew transitioned into his private practice doing mental coaching for athletes of all levels (professional, collegiate, amateur, and youth).
Drew also serves as an adjunct professor of sport and psychology at Dominican University of California. He lives with his wife and two dogs in Dallas, TX and plays golf every chance he can.
