Prior to joining NCSA, I attended Emmanuel College and graduated with a degree in Management with a Concentration in Sports Management. Sports has always been a pivotal part of my life since I was a child as I played basketball and soccer growing up. I really enjoy the team environment that sports creates and I always loved being able to play with close friends growing up. I was born and raised in Newton, MA and have lived here my entire life. As I grew up, I decided to place my focus on playing basketball which was my favorite sport to play. I played AAU basketball from 3rd grade until high school and appreciate all of the work my parents did to get me to practices, games, and cheer me on each weekend. I played basketball at Newton North High School, but decided to stop playing in college as I placed a big focus on my academics. On my off time, I am cheering for all of the Boston sports teams and my favorite soccer team, AS Roma.
The aspect of working at NCSA that intrigued me the most was being able to help someone find their dream school and allow them to play athletics in college. Having the ability to connect with families all over the world and give them information on the resources that we can provide to help them play in college was an opportunity that had me extremely excited. I am able to go to bed each night knowing that I just changed a student athlete’s life in a positive way. I am also a sports super fan, so being able to wake up and talk sports for a living is something I have always dreamed about. Whenever I speak to a parent or a student athlete, I want to make a positive impact in their life and help them understand that with the resources that NCSA provides, you can achieve your goal of playing sports in college!
