I played baseball in high school and was voted captain my Junior and Senior seasons. Baseball is a huge love of mine and I am grateful to be in a job where I get to talk to families and student-athletes who feel the same way. Prior to working for NCSA, I attended Flagler College where I majored in Sport Management. During my time in St. Augustine, I worked as an assistant baseball coach for the St. Augustine High School Yellow Jackets. I also worked for First Tee North Florida which is a non-profit youth golf organization. In my time there, I realized how important college education as well as college sports has become to young athletes and I knew I wanted to be a part of helping student-athletes with that someday.
My favorite thing about working for NCSA is the connections that you can make with the families in such a short amount of time. The families of these amazing student-athletes as well as the student-athletes themselves, are what makes this job unique, motivating, and rewarding. Having a job where I am able to see the meaningful work that I do on a daily basis have a potentially life changing impact is incredible. I am determined to help as many student-athletes as possible reach their ultimate goal of getting a college education and competing in their respective sports at the college level. In my free time I love to travel with my fiancé, play basketball, golf and run around with my 1 year old border collie mix named Augie.
