Born and raised in southern West Virginia, I attended Princeton Senior High School, where I played football for 4 years. Although my junior and senior years were plagued with season-ending injuries, I was able to garner the attention of several NCAA Division II and Division III football programs, but ultimately decided to walk-on at Marshall University, a Division I FBS program in Huntington, West Virginia. After spending a year at Marshall, I made the decision to transfer to Bluefield University, an NAIA program in Virginia, to be closer to my family.

After playing for one season with the Bluefield Rams, I decided that I ultimately wanted to pursue coaching and became a student assistant coach with Bluefield University. From being presented an opportunity to coach gridiron-football in Perth, Western Australia, to coaching young student-athletes from all ages and backgrounds, my love for coaching and remaining dedicated to the development of young people remains a fiery passion of mine.

Following my experience as a student-athlete and coach, I set out on a career path that brought me to NCSA, where I am now employed as a Recruiting Specialist, assisting athletes with the college recruiting process. Being able to interact with families and encourage and guide them through this journey is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work at NCSA. The recruiting process is something that every student-athlete will look back on one day, and I’m thrilled to be able to help bridge that gap from high school to college.
